Dean has served as the senior business development manager of a Wisconsin biotechnology company employing proteomics to develop a rapid, point-of-care saliva test for breast cancer. It was here that the concept of a business growth and development services firm was incubated. Dean learned from first hand experience what it takes to bring an idea to proof of concept and to market.  Now, he wants to share this knowledge. 

From R&D to ROI, Dean brings an understanding of sciences and technologies, licensing and liabilities, financing and fiscal realities, risk and reward, and the power of talented people in building profitable companies. With this come the skills of a professional communications veteran. 

Dean’s entrepreneurial path traces back further as one of the founding partners in a communications firm.  Over a 15-year timeframe, this multi-million-dollar business grew from two to 58 employees serving global clients in the agricultural, food and health arenas, including groundbreaking, worldwide introductions of biotechnology crops. 

Dean is a Wisconsin native, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
